Refund policy

At Scentira, we want you to explore fragrances with confidence. Our decants and sample sets exist so you can discover a scent before committing to a full bottle, so please choose them thoughtfully. This policy explains exactly what can be returned, exchanged, or refunded, and how each request is handled.

Return Window

All return and exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of the delivery date. Requests made after this window cannot be accepted.

Eligibility depends on which type of product you purchased:

One exception for everyone: If any product arrives damaged, leaking, defective, or you received the wrong item, you are eligible for a full refund regardless of product type, including decants, sample sets, and the refillable atomizer. See Damaged or Wrong Items below.

Retail Bottles

  • Eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
  • Must be returned unused, unopened, with the seal intact, and in original packaging.
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method, initiated within 2 to 3 business days after we receive and verify the returned product. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the credit, which is outside our control.

Accessories (Decant Cases)

  • Eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
  • Must be returned unused and in original, undamaged packaging.
  • Refunds follow the same method and timeline as retail bottles.

Refillable Atomizer

The refillable atomizer is a hygiene-sensitive product. Once it has been filled or used, it cannot be resold, so the following applies:

  • Unused and sealed: fully eligible for return, exchange, or refund within the 7 day window.
  • Opened, filled, or used: non returnable and non refundable for hygiene reasons.
  • Defective units are always covered. If the atomizer leaks, the sprayer fails, or the mechanism is faulty, we will replace or refund it even after filling. This is separate from a change of mind or difficulty using the product, which are not eligible once it has been used.

Partials

  • Eligible for return and exchange, not for a cash refund.
  • Returned partials are resolved via exchange or store credit.

Decants & Sample Sets

Decants and sample sets are made for sampling, designed for customers who want to try a fragrance before committing to a full bottle. Because of the nature of these products, they are non returnable and non refundable once delivered, except where they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect (see below). Please review your order carefully before purchasing.

Exchanges

  • Available on retail bottles, accessories, partials, and unused sealed atomizers.
  • You may exchange for the same product or a different product of your choice.
  • If exchanging for a product of higher value, the price difference must be paid by you.
  • Exchanges are processed only after the returned item is received and verified.

Damaged or Wrong Items

If your order arrives damaged, leaking, defective, or incorrect:

  • Contact us within the 7 day window with photos and/or a video showing the issue.
  • You are eligible for a full refund on any product type.
  • Where returning a damaged item to us is not practical, we may waive the return and issue your refund directly. This is assessed case by case.
  • An unboxing video is strongly recommended, as it allows us to resolve damage and leakage claims fastest.

How to Raise a Return, Exchange, or Refund

  1. Email support@scentira.in or WhatsApp us on +91 76588 21023 with your Order ID, reason for return, and photos/videos (if reporting damage).
  2. Once approved, we arrange a reverse pickup from your address. Scentira bears the pickup cost.
  3. After we receive and inspect the item, your refund, exchange, or store credit is processed per the timelines above.

Refund Timeline

  • Refunds are initiated within 2 to 3 business days of us receiving and verifying the returned product.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

Important Notes

  • Items must be returned in good condition, with no intentional damage or misuse.
  • Shipping charges (if any) are non refundable.
  • Scentira reserves the right to decline returns in cases of policy misuse.
